Easter Fun!

We had a wonderful Easter...our first one together as a family. In fact, last year on Easter Sunday, Louie and I were waiting on our referral, not knowing whether we would wind up with one baby or a sibling group. I remember that we went running that morning and talked about how next Easter might be so different...maybe we wouldn't have time to go running because we'd be opening Easter baskets and getting kids dressed for church. Boy, did we hit the nail on the head! No running this year! Cati woke me up early and asked, "Mama, is it the day or tonight?" I told her it was morning and she said "BUNNY RABBIT!" So, we jumped up and went looking to see if the Easter Bunny left her anything. When she found it, she was kind of afraid (see below). I guess it's all just new to her.



Once she got a little peak at the fun things inside, she couldn't wait for Papa to help her open it and to get her hands on it all!

An adorable and fun Barbie karaoke guitar! It plays "I'm a Survivor," "What a Girl Wants," and other pop-ish songs! She loves it and has actually been carrying it around all day today.



Ready for church...and we were only 20 minutes late. No big surprise, right?



Then we went to Tampa for lunch with Louie's family and house hunting.

By the end of the day, Cati had amassed 10 bunnies and 2 chicks, and being the annoying parents that we are, we told her that she didn't need that many bunnies and that some children might not have any. We asked her if she would choose a few to send to the sick children at Louie's hospital. She was very excited about helping them and chose six rabbits and a chickie to go to the sick kids. We were very proud of our sweet girl!
