He was really, really good during the cut itself, mostly due to the fact that he is so shy. He just sat there in my lap as still as could be. His big sis' didn't want to leave his side for even a minute. The lady kept asking Catalina to step back a little and even sat her in the chair beside us once, but you know our girl didn't stay there for long. She popped right back up, telling Gussy what a good job he was doing and grabbing his hand the minute he started to fuss. The lady finally said, "She's really protective of him, isn't she?" Really? How could you tell?
We were both so proud of our little guy and thought he looked so cute with his new haircut. Catalina told him, "Good job, Gussy! We're so proud o' you and Papa's gonna be so proud o' you!" with the biggest smile on her face (and the tears welling up in mine). I'm telling you...we are reminded every single day of how glad we are that God brought these siblings into our lives and how very thankful we are that they were not separated in the adoption process. They belong together and I am very honored to witness their precious relationship grow as they do.
Okay, so here are the pics. Before:
And, here he is after:

Here's a cute video from our visit with the McKinneys last weekend. Cati and Caroline were running from a monster (Gus). The adorable, little monster was laughing and screaming as he chased them, but got his feelings hurt pretty badly when the closed the door to keep him out.
