Fall Festivities

Gus turned 18 months on Friday. I can't believe it! It's going by too fast. It seems like he says a new word everyday...thank you is the newest (sounds like "cake-koo"). He also learned to clap along to "If You're Happy and You Know It" at the right times. Soooo funny! Of course, he still thinks Cati is the funniest person in the world! Whenever he thinks something is funny - whether it was something he did or something Louie or I did - he always looks at Cati, like he's checking to see if she's laughing or like he wants to share the laugh with her. It's really so sweet!

He still climbs on anything and everything you can think of. I'm trying to temper that a bit, but my efforts don't seem to be working. He's crazy about Murphy and spends a lot of time hugging and patting and kissing him. He's not so crazy about Doc, especially when Doc is running around and barking and smacking Gus in the face with his tail.

Also, here are some cute pics from Saturday. We went to a little fall festival, which didn't really consist of much but pumpkins and trick-or-treating at the stores of Hyde Park. Still, Catalina and Gus had fun. Cati especially loved seeing doggies dressed up for Halloween!!

These pictures are funny...Gus was almost smiling for the camera, until this stranger behind me tried to help out and starting talking to him. Look at how he's staring at her in the third picture!!
