Holiday

On the adoption front, not much going on. What did I tell you? Silence. The flood of PGN outs has subsided. Today is a holiday in Guatemala, the Assumption of Mary, so I'm not expecting to hear about much PGN activity this week. Some folks from our agency are going down to Guatemala City this weekend for a visit with the attorneys and with some of the children that they are placing. I told them to give our kiddos extra love and attention while they are there and to take lots of pictures.

On a side note, my favorite thing about living in Orlando (besides the fact that my husband and my dogs are here) is my friend, Fraser. She's adorable (see photo below) and wonderful and we've been great friends since the moment we met. Unfortunately, this week, she's moving. It's hard to see her go, but I'm happy for Bill's professional opportunities and I'm very happy that they are only going a couple of hours away. Once Cati and Gus get here, we can load up the minivan (!) and head over to visit Fra and her baby-to-be for the day!
