Their first trip to the beach!

Catalina and Gus attended their friend, McConnell's, second birthday party on Saturday. It was held at his family's house in Clearwater Beach. To our knowledge, this was the first time Cati and Gus have been to the beach. We were kind of worried about Catalina...we knew she'd either love it or be terrified of it (and to be honest, I thought that the latter was more likely). She cried as soon as she saw the dunes, so I thought we were out of luck. Papa carried her to the beach, though, and by the time her feet hit the water, she was in love!







Louie took this picture. He thought it was funny because we're all so old now...toting around kids and 50 SPF instead of beer and gossip magazines and 8 SPF (on a good day).
