More from our visit with my family

My parents got here on Saturday morning. My little brother came later that evening and his wife joined us on Monday. Matt and Julie have only been around the kids once (last year for Gus’s first birthday), so I didn’t know what to expect. Let me tell you…there was no way for me to predict how much the kids would love Tio Matty. Seriously, they couldn’t get enough of him. They were all over my dad, too. Gus calls my brother “Matt-mee” and my dad “Dan-dah.” So cute!

On Sunday, we took the kids fishing. Well, it was more like, my dad, my brother, and Louie fished and the kids watched, but they still had a really good time. The pictures from fishing are just too, too cute, so you’re in for a bunch of them.

After fishing, we were tired and hungry, so we went for Mexican, my favorite.

Doesn’t Matt look like a shady gringo in a Mexican bar in this picture…all except for that sippy cup in front of him?! It makes me laugh.
