More beautiful beach babies!

Max and I are home this morning, while the big kids and Louie are at church. Max hasn’t been feeling well. Took him to the doctor yesterday thinking it must be an ear infection, but, no, just a nasty cold (doesn’t help that he has a tooth coming through, too). He’s watching Elmo right now (Elmo just said, “Say ‘bye-bye’ to the birdies” and Max politely obliged, “Bye-bye!” Soooo cute!). I thought I’d take this opportunity to post the rest of our Anna Maria Island photos. We have lots of much-needed rain here in Tampa this morning, so it’s fun looking at these sunny beach pics.

Our first day at the beach was overcast until sunset, but the second day made up for it. Just beautiful!

Her swimsuit matches the color of the water!

Catalina was fascinated by a huge sandcastle that these people were building…until they actually asked her if she wanted to come in and join them. If you know her well, then you know that that joining strangers in a sandcastle on the beach is not something she would ever do. She got very serious and wasn’t having anything more to do with it!

And, of course, what would a morning at the beach be without a few terrible-two antics from Gussy?

We took a break for lunch, the same beautiful spot where we had dinner the night before.

Our waitress was smitten with Cati and Gus and she made them a surprise for their drinks!

After lunch, more playing on the beach. The water was still too cold for swimming, but Bibi and the kids went in as far as they could. I love Catalina and Bibi's expressions in this next picture!

I love these last couple of pictures:

We had so much fun at the beach that the kids just played themselves out. Just like our last beach trip, they crashed within minutes of leaving (and in the same positions as last time, too)!
